Military marriages and relationships give new meaning to the term “long distance relationship”.  Unfortunately, these unions are not exempt from “normal” and even abnormal relationship problems. If you love someone in the military, research has shown that you’re subjected to even greater stresses, worries, and fears than your civilian peers. Furthermore, you are coping with a lifestyle that doesn’t lend itself to the daily nourishment that a relationship requires to thrive.

We would like to offer you some free support to help your love life survive this challenging time. Through our Ask Mars Venus coaching program, we can provide you with the support that military spouses and significant others need to emotionally and realistically keep love alive.  

Who are we and why do we want to help?

Ask Mars Venus is a unique program created by Dr. John Gray, author of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. We offer relationship and dating advice for clients from the privacy of their own phone; you don’t have to visit an office, you can simply call from any phone and speak to a qualified coach about your concerns.

Coaches are ready to talk with you about issues like:

  • How to manage being separated for long periods of time with little contact.
  • Ways for new and expectant moms to cope with a spouse who is deployed.
  • Keeping expectations in check while getting reacquainted after a homecoming.
  • Managing your feelings of isolation and loneliness while your partner is out of touch.
  • Advising parents on how to help their children adjust to a parent being away.
  • Dealing with the uncertainty and fear created when someone you love is in harm’s way.
  • Parenting and communication advice for those with children in the military.
  • Concerns about pulling away, lack of communication, trust, infidelity, resentment, starting over, and so much more.

We want to help because we can. It’s that simple. Each and every day there is new report on the TV about the stress that military families, wives, and marriages are under. We’ve been helping clients for years and we sincerely believe that we can help you too. It’s our turn to give back to the people who have sacrificed so much for us all.
